Do I need HACCP?
Maintaining excellent food safety standards is a mandatory requirement for all food businesses. This includes any businesses involved with the manufacturing, distribution, retail and catering of food.
International and regional legislation dictates that food businesses should implement a HACCP-based Food Safety Management System (FSMS). This is a system that helps food business operators look at how they handle food, and introduces procedures to make sure the food they handle is safe to eat.
